"As a Service‑Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), the launch of The Wall Street Warfighters Foundation was strategic to our branding efforts. Tony DeFazio's experience and sage PR counsel was vital to navigating the media. He walked us through the campaign and executed the media strategy brilliantly. The mix of national, regional and local coverage took us from obscurity to the national stage overnight making the job of attracting sponsors and training vets much easier

Foundation Rises from Obscurity to National Stage Overnight
Drexel Hamilton, a financial services firm owned by a disable veteran, wanted exposure to drive recruitment and funding for its career training program for wounded veterans.
The firm asked DeFazio Communications to create a strategic public relations program to drive recruitment and sponsorship funding. We coached the executive management team through a multi-phased announcement program including the appointment of General Peter Pace, former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff as the national spokesperson and a press conference to introduce first veterans as well as remote television and newspaper interviews around the country for Lawrence K. Doll, Chairman and CEO. Results included feature stories in top financial and military media including Institutional Investor, Investment News, Pensions & Investments, Bloomberg Television, First Business, American Veteran Television Series, Veterans of Foreign Wars and coverage in leading newspapers such as The Philadelphia Inquirer and Los Angeles Times. In addition, the foundation was covered by dozens of Internet blogs and websites.
The campaign spiked in-bound applications nearly 70% and attracted key funding sources, helping the foundation to rise from obscurity to national stage in six months
